Biography
Mimi Al Laham is a war journalist and fighter committed to the struggle against the jihadists in Syria. Before the conflict she was a political analyst known for courageous reporting that denounced Western propaganda and the atrocities committed against her country. When war breaks out, she leaves the role of observer behind, takes up arms and defends her homeland alongside the Syrian forces and their allies. Throughout the conflict, Mimi plays a crucial part in liberating occupied territory and saving historical relics, notably during the battle of Palmyra.
